What is S925 sterling silver?

S925 sterling silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals — typically copper — added for strength and durability. Pure silver (99.9%) is too soft to hold its shape in wearable jewelry, which is why the S925 standard has been used worldwide for centuries. Every piece at Sterling Arc is made from genuine S925 sterling silver.

Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?

Sterling silver is generally well-tolerated by people with sensitive skin and is considered hypoallergenic by most standards. What gemstones do you use?

Our collections feature genuine tiger's eye, black onyx, agate, opal, and zircon. Each gemstone is selected for its character and finished by hand, so colour and pattern will vary slightly from piece to piece.

Do your pieces come with a certificate of authenticity?

Will my sterling silver tarnish?

All sterling silver tarnishes over time — it's a natural reaction between silver and sulfur compounds in the air. With proper care, you can slow tarnish significantly and restore shine easily when it does appear. We've written a full care guide here.

How do I clean my Sterling Arc jewelry?

For silver-only pieces, gently polish with a soft microfibre or dedicated silver polishing cloth. For pieces with pearls or gemstones, avoid liquid silver dips and chemical cleaners — these can damage natural materials. Instead, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.

How should I store my jewelry?

Store each piece individually in an airtight pouch or a lined jewelry box, away from direct sunlight, humidity, and other metals. Tarnish accelerates when silver is exposed to air, so a sealed bag dramatically extends shine between wears.

Can I wear my jewelry in the shower or pool?

We recommend removing all jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising. Soap, chlorine, salt water, and sweat can dull sterling silver and damage natural pearls and gemstones over time.

What about perfume, lotion, and hairspray?

Always apply perfume, lotion, sunscreen, and hairspray before putting on jewelry, and let them fully absorb. These products are one of the top causes of premature dulling on sterling silver and clouding on pearls.

How do I find my ring size?

The most accurate method is to visit a local jeweller for a professional sizing — most will do this free of charge. At home, you can wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres. What necklace length should I choose?

Standard necklace lengths and where they sit:

14–16 inches (choker): Sits at the base of the neck
18 inches (princess): Just below the collarbone — the most popular length
20–24 inches (matinee): Rests on the chest, just above the bust
28–36 inches (opera): Falls below the bust, often worn doubled

If you prefer a layered look, pair an 18" piece with a 22" or 24" for a natural cascade.

How are your bracelets sized?

Our bracelets are adjustable from 6.5" to 7.5" to fit most wrists

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days of purchase.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping on purchase of 3 or more items. If you purchase less than 3 items, the shipping cost will be $10/item.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes — every order ships with a tracking number, sent to your email as soon as the package leaves our facility.

Do you ship discreetly for gifts?

All Sterling Arc orders ship in our signature packaging with no pricing visible on the exterior. If you're sending directly to a recipient, simply enter their address at checkout.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at Customercare@sterlingarcjewelry.com before the 14-day period expires.

How do I start a return?
